ETHIC ExCom elected

European Thermoplastic Independent Compounders (ETHIC) held its Plenary Meeting on 23 November 2010. During this meeting, ETHIC members-unanimously- elected the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Treasurer for the period 2010-2012. Leopold Katzmayer, Managing Director of Gabriel Chemie International Holding Ges.m.b.H, was re-elected chairman for a two-year term.

Massimo Veronellii (Nord Color) has been elected Vice-Chairman and Daniel Peruzzo (Ampacet Europe), has been re-elected treasurer.

In addition to the above, the new ETHIC ExCom also includes Bernard Baert (PolyOne) and Renato Galli (Viba Group SPA) who are both re-elected as ExCom members. Cristiano Citterio (Lati) was elected to the ETHIC ExCom for the first time.

Mr. Walter Claes was appointed the new ETHIC manager since Mr. Bochicchio left EuPC and ETHIC at the end of 2010.

ETHIC represents and defends the interests of the European compounds and masterbatch producers vis-à-vis European institutions and other international professional organizations.

The next meeting of the ETHIC Executive Committee and Plenary Meeting will take place on 7 and 8 March 2011. The meeting will be hosted by Nord Color in San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy.
